MCP servers in early access

AI assistants can now use Eliq data as tools through the Utility Insights MCP and the Home Insights MCP, in early access for selected clients.

AI assistants such as Claude can now use Eliq data as tools through Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

  • Utility Insights MCP: portfolio questions about your customer base, such as how many customers have an EV or which tariff fits a segment best. Counts only. Your team signs in with Microsoft Entra ID, the same account as the Client Admin Portal, and adds it as a custom connector in Claude.
  • Home Insights MCP: questions about one home, from consumption and costs to invoices and advice. Access is set up together with Eliq.

MCP is for AI agents, where a model decides what to call. Backends, apps and integrations should keep using the versioned APIs, and an energy coach for your users is built on the Energy Coach API.

Both servers are in early access for selected clients. Contact your account manager for access. Read more in MCP servers.

Documentation updates

  • Authentication: default token lifetimes (10 minutes for access tokens, 90 days for refresh tokens), scopes per API, client secret lifetime and the optional IP allowlist.
  • Webhooks: every event type is now listed on the Webhooks page.
